The Yum Culinary studio is owned by a passionate group of foodies. Our love for food and sharing delightful experiences blossomed into the culinary studio in the heart of our home town, Benoni.

We want to create, challenge, devour and enjoy. if you do too, youre at the right place.

More than just cooking at YUM Culinary we offer fresh fun ideas for all your special events, intimate fine dining experience for couples, chefling classes for the kids (where they will be taught how to read and understand a recipe and share in fun food facts) and much more.

We are devoted to food and advancing good health and general wellness through experiencing different cuisines from Thai, Mexican, Italian, French and more..

Chef Trev was born in Durban KZN and studied at Capsicum Culinary School.

With a passion for showcasing the artistry and techniques of fine dining as well as entertaining guests, this promises for a fun and tasty experience!

He has experience as a Chef du Partie at the Michelangelo Hotel in Sandton before moving on to a Head Chef role at Biru Biru Café in Borneo.

From there he became the Executive Sous Chef at the fine-dining restaurant Saints and Sinners in Kota Kinabalu in Malaysia.

He has also worked at the Hilton Hotel in Kota Kinabalu. Where he worked his way up from Sous Chef to one of the Head Chefs of the hotel’s restaurant.

Home-sick, he returned to South Africa to pursue his career as a Personal Private Chef where he demonstrates his learned skill and talents in an intimate, informative and fun atmosphere.
